For quite a while I avoided contributing to Giveaways. I figured they only delivered freebie seekers and wouldn’t lead to much return on my time.
Well, this “one time” - I am wrong. Please don’t mention this “one time” comment to my wife. She will tell you I am usually wrong. 
Anyway, I’ve now participated in a couple of Giveaways and I am blown away by how fast you can grow a list. Plus, I have already monetized my giveaway list — in other words made some money. It’s a little too early to really compare my return against other list building methods but so far I am impressed.
Anyway, if you have been on the sidelines with these Giveaways like me — now is the time to get involved. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
