He lost subscribers….ouch!

I was talking with a good friend the other day and he was carrying on about losing subscribers  — in fact his “former” subscribers were accusing him of spamming.

At first I wasn’t listening too closely and then a light went off when I actually listened to what he was saying.

He made a comment about sending multiple emails to subscribers that had joined several of his lists.  They would send nasty emails accusing him of spamming and then unsubscribe.

I laughed a little because it was my chance to teach him something instead of the other way around….and the solution was actually pretty simple.  We both use Aweber (the autoresponder service) so there is an easy way to deal with this.

It made me think there are people like my friend that are missing out on all of the tips and tricks for Aweber.

And…I bet these same people have every marketing tool they need to be successful.  They’re just not sure how to get every ounce of value from each tool they have.

I can relate to that…can you?

It’s like having a sports car and never taking it out of first gear — what a waste!

Well, I can’t help you with the sports car, but I found something that puts Aweber into maximum overdrive…..so take a second and check this out:

Services That Make Me Money Part 1

I subscribe to a lot of Internet subscriptions — from affiliate marketing, AdWords, PPC, PLR, hosting — you name it, I probably have tried it.

9 out of 10 aren’t worth it and I typically unsubscribe after 1 month.  It’s like dating — you know pretty quickly if a service can provide the goods or not.

So today I will start sharing the names of the internet services that I have stuck with.  Or a better way to say it: The Services That Make Me Money!

The first service I am sharing is HostGator.  They host almost all of my sites.

I have been with them for over 1 year.  Why Do I like them?

  • Their support provides fast responses.
  • The control panel seems to have every gadget I need.
  • When I have some weird script I am trying to install.  They always seem to have the right Atom, or PHP or whatever tech term it is that doesn’t mean a thing to me.
  • In addition the price is very reasonable
  • And, of course, my sites never seem to be down.

Keeping with the whole dating analogy, finding a host is a lot like being married.  Once you tie the knot, it’s hard to break it off.  This makes it critical to get set-up with a great host in the beginning to avoid the headache of having to transfer websites.

So with that, a big thank you to Hostgator.
