Most of us want targeted traffic to our websites, since it s the lifeblood of any online business. There are many ways to get targeted traffic to your website but one way not discussed so often is the contextual targeted traffic. So what is contextual targeted traffic and how can it help my website.
A contextual advertising network is based on content targeting. With innovative technologies, the advertisements are selected and served by automated systems based on the relevancy of the content of the specific website. For example if your website is about email marketing, you would want your advertisement placed on similar themed sites. In this way your target audience is more likely to be interested in your offer.
Contextual advertising also helps improve the users’ overall online experience because they will only see ads relevant to the content on the website. It can maximize the earning potentials of both advertisers and publishers as the ads are more targeted to what the users are searching for and thus the ads are more likely to get clicked on.
The advertiser usually pays for contextual targeted traffic. One such system is Google’s AdWords. Ads are placed on appropriate sites or are shown on appropriate searches. There are also a number of advertising companies and business that have contextual advertising packages including popunders and Pay per click advertising and interstitial ads.
So, in conclusion, whenever marketing on the internet choose contextual advertising as its more targeted. Being targeted you are more likely to get a greater click through rate.

Bonuses that are offered by affiliates never seem to live up to the promise. I was thinking through my last few purchases I have either never received the bonus I was promised or the bonus wasn’t worth the electronic digits it was printed on.
I am making a promise to myself: Don’t let the promise of a good bonus determine who I buy from because it’s probably not worth it.
