My Top 5 Free Traffic Sources

by Tyler on January 11, 2008

I thought I would jot down my top free traffic sources.  All of these sites have provided me with decent traffic at a cost of zero.  Please feel free to add to the list:

EzineArticles.com- A great place to submit articles.  They can be a little picky to get your articles in.  But once your article is approved it typically leads to very good traffic.

Digg.com - a little harder to get traffic but if you hit the right topic it can be explosive.

StumbleUpon.com -  Participation is the key here.  Put meaningful comments on people’s sites and it typically leads to good results.

Yahoo Answers - Ask and Answer questions and with little effort you will get traffic.  Plus, giving your opinion in the area you have knowledge can be helpful to people in need.  I have received several personal thank you notes which makes me feel good. :)

Squidoo- Create a decent S lens with a low competing niche topic and you should see traffic in a day.  Just put a good lens together and your off!

 Bonus

Social Bookmarking - sites like Technorati.com, Twitter.com and Blink.com can lead to great traffic.  Like all of these sites, a little effort and time and you will be surprised at the results.

 Have a good one.  Tyler
