Review - Small Reports Fortune

by Tyler on October 21, 2008

Where you can Buy it: http://www.smallreportsfortune.com/

Product Description:

A step-by-step manual for creating small reports and selling them for profit. This course includes everything you could possibly need to get your first small report written and selling on clickbank.com

The course comes as a 101-page manual in .PDF format, 7 downloadable .MP3 sessions, 4 exclusive bonuses in .PDF format and a set of video tutorials.

For this price, you’re getting a course in market research, a course in copywriting, a course in web creation, a course in marketing your product… I mean, it’s almost silly how thorough he is in this one product. It’s truly a comprehensive, step-by-step course.

The only thing that Jimmy doesn’t do is actually sit down and write the reports for you — but I do think that’s understandable since the price is so reasonable. ;)

If you order today, you can be taking orders for you first small report in less than 1 week from NOW.

Who This Product is Intended For:

Anyone wants to make money with infoproducts. It is especially useful for those who want to create ebooks, but are intimidated by creating a large infoproduct.

Uses:

This course will teach the steps you need to write short reports that people will want to read and make money doing it.

Pros:

Small Reports Fortune is filled with language that is easy to understand and includes examples so that you understand exactly what to do and how. Not only are you shown how to write the reports, you are also given information on how to best design, price, and sell your small report. Finally, you’re given tips on how to use your small reports to build even more income.

Con:

None apparent. The only thing that isn’t covered in depth is how to get traffic once you’ve gotten the report written and ready to sell. However, Jimmy does offer several other courses with training to get traffic.

Personal Opinion:

This course made it easy for me to see the HUGE potential in writing small reports. Additionally, it gave me a system for creating a quality product and a roadmap to follow to get them to market.

When he released a new course on creating ebooks, I thought, “What in the world could he possibly have to say on the subject that hasn’t already been said?”

I thought that was a fair question.

And I must say that I’m impressed with the answer.

Jimmy has put together a nice course here that teaches how to create small reports…

The case studies he provides at his site attention-grabbers for sure -

* Over eighteen-thousand dollars in monthly residuals.

* Over thirty-thousand dollars in one day profit.

* Over one million dollars in total profit.

All from writing short reports.

But, as impressive as all that is, what really got my attention - and my endorsement - was the fact that he shows anyone (even rank beginners!) how to start from scratch and actually make a profit in just 7 days.

That means, if right now you have no list, no web site, no ideas … nothing … you can still actually make money from this system in just 1 week.

(Of course, if you have some of those things, you can see results even quicker!)

Jimmy has even included as one of the bonuses, a 16-page report that offers a systematic checklist broken down into daily activities for you to complete.

Assignments appear in chronological order, completely cover the entire process of creating a small report from start to finish and refer to specific pages of the main manual and bonuses to provide complete, detailed instructions for completing each assignment.

I mean, it’s all broken down into easy-to-do steps!

And, best of all, he shows his exclusive never-before-revealed “Six Phases Of A Six Figure Small Report Business”

In order words, there’s a “small fortune” to be made with these “small reports”!

Do you think big or small?

by Tyler on June 8, 2008

I just started reading “Life Lessons For Mastering The Law Of Attraction“.

It’s a great book so far and if you are interested I recommend you check it out.

Life Lessons

One of the quotes in the book really caught my attention. Here it is:

“What is the difference between
an obstacle and opportunity?
It’s our attitude towards it.
Every opportunity has a difficulty,
And every difficulty has an opportunity.”

My sister is a good example of a thinking big and turning a difficulty into an opportunity.

A couple years back, she wanted to make some extra money while raising her two children. She asked me how she could earn a little extra on the Internet while working from home. She had zero technical skills so there wasn’t a lot I could suggest.

At the time, I knew a little bit about online surveys and decided to research the various services. I found one that appeared to be real so she gave it a try.

Since signing up, she has consistently received good surveys and she’s done her part by completing them. She doesn’t make a fortune but earns enough extra money every month to pay the “surprise” bills and have extra for the little things.

But the story actually gets a little bit better. Couple weeks back I asked her how she was doing with the surveys. She lit up like a Christmas tree. She went on to tell me that completing those surveys has provided her a stepping stone to a bigger opportunity.

It turns out one of her friends owns a small business. This friend asked my sister to come up with questions to ask her customers so she could provide them with a better shopping experience. My sister took her up on it and created a pretty nice report from the way she explained it. They never really discussed pricing but my sister provided the report to her friend and she handed my sister a $500 check for her services.

But it even gets better. This lady has a friend who also owns a small business and asked my sister for a quote to provide the same service. Guess how much my sister quoted? $1,000. Yes I’m not joking.

So my sister has developed a skill from answering simple surveys and now is turning it into a consulting business. Who would have thought such a small thing could possibly lead into something big? I’ll be first to admit that I let my thinking limit myself at times.

I’m proud of her but more importantly it’s the power of turning an obstacle into an opportunity.

I want to ask a favor of you… If you’re hit with an obstacle this week, think about the quote in this email and see if you can make it an opportunity.

Deal?

Talk with you soon,

Tyler

PS.

If you’re wondering about survey sites and find yourself in a spot like my sister, they really can make you a little extra money. You’re not going to get rich but you will make some extra money and with a little creativity may even turn into something bigger. Here is a service that I have researched and believe to be reliable.

How To Make Money From Online Surveys

Marketers often miss the mark when it comes to email relationship marketing and just pound their list with offer after offer.

As an internet marketer, you should really be keeping two lists for every niche you operate in. These are a buyers list, with email addresses of people who have already bought your products, and a prospects list, of people who have signed up for some free content, but who have not yet bought anything. These lists need to be handled in a totally different way. The buyers have already demonstrated trust in you enough to buy, even if it was a cheap report, and they need gentle handling. Always supply all the good content you can to people on this list, and try to build on the relationship. If you do this, then you can take advantage of joint ventures you are offered without alienating your subscribers, and you can also market your own new products at no expense.

The one trap you simply must not fall into is using your list as an excuse to pitch every affiliate program on Clickbank or PayDotCom, even if you have never seen the products. The primary goal with a buyers list is to retain as many subscribers as possible, for as long as possible. When you do make a product recommendation, make sure you have actually seen and used the product. If you can demonstrate that you have used the product with success, and then go on to show your list how they will benefit from it as well, then you will have every chance of making sales.

Your non buyers list is a different animal altogether. Most of these will be freebie seekers who will never become customers. Not all, however, so this is still not a free for all to promote every affiliate product that comes on to the market. The first choice you have to make is how to present your content. Many marketers with a non buyers list will simply send their subscribers emails which redirect them to a webpage. This webpage will then have affiliate offers and contextual advertising mixed in with the content, giving the marketer a chance to earn even from the non buying traffic.

Become a master at email relationship marketing today.

Article Marketing For Traffic

by Tyler on May 19, 2008

I am often asked how does article marketing for traffic work?

Getting traffic from your articles starts with a captivating headline.

A couple of months back, I was determined to spend the extra time on my article headlines. Since that time, my article click-through rate has improved by 25%.

In “You Can Write Articles“, Martin Avis discusses 9 pointers to write killer headlines that will increase your traffic results.

Here are a 3 of the 9 pointers he discusses in his book:

- The EMOTIONAL method
- The INTRIGUING method
- The ACTIVE Method

All 9 methods are easy to apply and will increase your article marketing results.

The section about magic words to use in headlines is informative and useful.

One of the magic words he cites and I have used successfully in many articles is the “How To” phrase.

An example using the “how to” magic words is:

“How To Build A Massive List Overnight”

If these strategies seem simple to you, it’s because they are — but they’re also very effective.

“You Can Write Articles” is only $7 but don’t let low price fool you. It’s 45 pages packed with info that will make you an expert Article Marketer in no time.

Those products and so called automated software to get you massive traffic online. There is always a bunch of new free traffic generators which promises the next sensation in terms of traffic generation.Yet it is so sadly true that some real basic concepts about generating traffic never changes. Before we go any deeper, why don’t we explore the 3 naked truths about these kind of traffic.

Truth 1: Its Not Literally Free Per Se

Come on, nothing is really free come to think of it. Look closely at the amount of time you spent doing everything necessary to get free traffic to your website.

It simply cost you time and not money. Time does mean something and you can easily go to a McD’s store to ask how much the cashier gets paid by the hour. It is pretty much the same thing about generating free traffic.

Truth 2: You Always Come Back To The Basics

Just like a person who is able to cycle, you start out by learning exactly what drives the bicycle. You drive the bicycle no matter what and how good to become really stems from the practice you have made on the bike.

Like in traffic every single hour you spend improving your click through rates and even writing skills will yield you better results. It is a basic fact of working to improve yourself to be better at your chosen free traffic strategy.

Truth 3: Research Is Critical In All Aspect

Whether you are trying to improve your traffic conversions or finding a new source of free traffic generators it all boils down to research. Simple but if you do not do it properly you will just waste your efforts.

Knowing where to post your ad or submit your site or even post your article will impact the way your site receives traffic. That is why you should absolutely believe in doing good, basic research before carrying out any tasks you have planned. Aim, then fire.

Sometimes, even proven free traffic generators will require you to work hard at getting the kind of results you want. Software or not, it simply depends on how you utilize them to your advantage. No point paying $197 for a piece of tool that you do not use for a whole year.

For quite a while I avoided contributing to Giveaways. I figured they only delivered freebie seekers and wouldn’t lead to much return on my time.

Well, this “one time” - I am wrong. Please don’t mention this “one time” comment to my wife. She will tell you I am usually wrong. :)

Anyway, I’ve now participated in a couple of Giveaways and I am blown away by how fast you can grow a list. Plus, I have already monetized my giveaway list — in other words made some money. It’s a little too early to really compare my return against other list building methods but so far I am impressed.

Anyway, if you have been on the sidelines with these Giveaways like me — now is the time to get involved. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I put this Giveaway calendar together to save you some time:

My Top 7 Free Software and Web Resources

by Tyler on May 11, 2008

Here is a list of quality tools that I personally use and the best part is they are free:

#1 - Animoto  (creates entertaining videos from your pictures)
http://www.animoto.com

You upload your digital pictures and Animoto creates a movie like presentation with music.  If you want to create a longer video, they charge a fee but the short version is free and still fun to play with.

#2 - MovieMaker by Microsoft
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/default.mspx

This is a great tool for creating movies with videos, pictures and slides.  There’s a learning curve but once you get it down it’s very powerful.  This is excellent for creating YouTube videos.

#3 PhotoStory 3 By Microsoft
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx

This is a cool little tool for creating stories with slides or photos.  I use this program when I am trying to narrate a slideshow.  The program records your voice on a per slide basis so it makes it easy if your are doing some type of recorded presentation.  Once again, great for YouTube.

#4 - PrimoPDF (creates PDF)
http://www.primopdf.com

Most free PDF creators that I have tried are buggy and don’t work well. PrimoPDF is solid and works every time at no cost.

#5 - Audacity  (MP3 editor)
http://audacity.sourceforge.net

If you use MP3 audio at all, you will love Audacity.  This is a great program and allows you to edit, splice and join audios.  If you do teleseminars and want to edit the out the coughs and add music — Audacity is your tool.

#6 - CamStudio or Jing (records your computer screen)
http://www.swftools.com/tools-details.php?tool=8162413051

http://www.jingproject.com/

This is the light version of the $300 Camtasia program.  It will get the job done when you need to record your computer screen.  Jing is a free program that is in beta right now and does something similar.  Both are good tools.

#7 - Statcounter.com
http://statcounter.com

I like this program better than Google Analytics.  It provides real-time data for traffic to your website.  Note: there is a fee if you want to increase your traffic logs but I don’t find it necessary.

Hope you enjoy,

Tyler
